Be wild but stay soft
ARTIST STEATMENT
As an artist I chose to deal with beauty as a value.
In a society that worships the fountain of youth and aesthetics, I paint again and again with holy fear while trying to preserve the concept of beauty. I chose to deal precisely with the peak of beauty, in eternalize the brief moment when everything blooms, alive, saturated with color and life. In my paintings I try to immortalize youth, vitality, and aesthetics. Besides the figures, mainly female,
I combine in my paintings different elements such as flowers, butterflies and birds, that symbolize blossoming and regeneration of nature, Vs the fading of female beauty. The blooming stage in life cycle is the stage when everything is stormy, extreme, romantic, with strong emotional strengths, which is naturally followed by a slow phase of aging.
Dealing with aesthetics, mysteries, and the enigmatic female gaze, are topics that have occupied me for a long time. As a woman who has passed the age of 50, the choice to paint female portraits is, for me, is a therapeutic touch on my personal anxiety about the menopause, the betrayal of the body, aging, visual fatigue, and the loss of relevance, not necessarily in the sexual sense but more in the "relevant of freshness" sense. I am trying to preserve temporary beauty on the timeless canvas.

As an artistic little girl with an imaginary mind, hopelessly romantic, how swept away by love stories , I try in my adulthood, to share with the audience the feeling of the sublimity and fragility of fleeting beauty. The tendency to beauty and aesthetics accompany me from a young age., the maturing of the body is difficult for me to deal with. Therefore it occupies me on a daily level. The decision to combine aesthetics femininity in my paintings and the use of different materials came to me as my one therapeutic need.

My paintings are abstract-realistic, characterized by multiple layers, and strong vivid colors, with a tendency of romance. I also often give expression to text and mixed it in the paintings. I use various materials such as collage pieces, acrylic inks, spray paints, acrylic paints, stick paints, oil paints ect.
